This foundation in Paris will pave the way for the Data-Driven VC Hackathon Paris 2025 event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"h-why-this-hackathon-matters\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why This Hackathon Matters<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The VC industry has long been due for innovation in how data is leveraged. While traditional methods have their place, the hackathon demonstrated that by combining cutting-edge tools, open-source collaboration, and diverse talent, we can push the boundaries of what\u2019s possible. The event offered participants exclusive access to APIs from tier-one data providers. These included <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/predictleads.com\/\">PredictLeads<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.peopledatalabs.com\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.peopledatalabs.com\/\">People Data Labs<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/\">Similarweb<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.harmonic.ai\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.harmonic.ai\/\">Harmonic<\/a><\/strong>. This empowered them to bring their most creative ideas to life. Furthermore, the upcoming 2025 hackathon in Paris is expected to build on these innovations in anticipation of the Data-Driven VC Hackathon Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"h-the-winning-project-pulse\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Winning Project: <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/heringo\/ddvc\">Pulse<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first-place project, <strong>Pulse<\/strong>, blew the jury away with its dynamic, data-driven approach to market segmentation. Built on enriched textual data from sources like PredictLeads, Pulse uses NLP-powered clustering to segment companies into evolving markets. The tool doesn\u2019t just map existing trends but it also visualizes how markets evolve in real-time, offering an extreme level of granularity.
