In the extended version, employee range, industry, revenue estimate, and LinkedIn-sourced firmographics are also included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><code>company_job_openings<\/code> and <code>discover_job_openings<\/code><\/strong> return a company&#8217;s active or historical job postings, filterable by category, O*NET occupation code, and location. Alternatively, you can discover postings across the full dataset by profession and location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><code>company_technology_detections<\/code> and <code>discover_technology_technology_detections<\/code><\/strong> return which technologies a specific company uses, or which companies use a specific technology. This is useful for both fit-scoring and competitive displacement research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><code>news_events<\/code><\/strong> returns structured company news filtered by any of 37 categories (funding, expansion, leadership changes, partnerships, and more). As a result, an agent can pull exactly the trigger type relevant to the question being asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><code>financing_events<\/code><\/strong> returns funding events filtered by normalized financing stage, from pre-seed through Series J and their bridge variants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><code>company_similar_companies<\/code><\/strong> returns a company&#8217;s closest matches with a similarity score and a stated reason. This is useful for account expansion once a good-fit account is identified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><code>company_connections<\/code> and <code>discover_connection_investors<\/code><\/strong> return a company&#8217;s business relationships, including customer, vendor, and investor connections. The investor-specific endpoint is built from VC and accelerator portfolio pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><code>company_website_evolution<\/code> and <code>company_github_repositories<\/code><\/strong> round out the picture with website growth signals and public GitHub activity. Also, use <code>news_events<\/code> filtered to the expansion and investment category families to check for a recent funding round or office expansion. If the account looks like a strong fit but isn&#8217;t quite ready, <code>company_similar_companies<\/code> can surface comparable accounts. These accounts might be a better immediate target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is close to what running these tools live actually returns. For example, a real <code>company_job_openings<\/code> call against a known domain surfaced an open &#8220;Staff Analytics Engineer&#8221; role. This posting explicitly listed &#8220;Claude Code&#8221; and &#8220;Claude by Anthropic&#8221; among its required tool proficiencies.
